Set up PM based dates if the PM Schedules for equipment should be scheduled based on the cost center. For example, if a base date for the ICU is February 1, 2010, all equipment entered in the ICU will have annual PM in February, semi-annual PMs in February and August, quarterly PMs in February, May, August, and November.
Building Base Date
In order to set up PM base dates for specific Buildings, the Building must be added into AIMS first.
1. Select a Building from the list on the left.
2. Select a Base Date for that Building. This date will default on newly added PM Schedules for the selected building(s).
3. Click Apply.
Service Department Base Date
1. Select a Building from the valid entry list. This will allow you to set a base date for a service department within a specific building.
2. Select one or more Service Departments.
3. Choose a Base Date.
4. Click Apply.
NOTE: If you have a base date set for a building and a different base date set for the same building and a service department, the building/ service department combination date will take precedence.
