This describes how to link an Equipment Type or Manufacturer to an ECRI Alert, when the Alert Tracker function did not find any matches automatically.
1. Accept the text entry Description of the ECRI code that you are linking.
NOTE: This should be the description of the AIMS Equipment Type / Manufacturer that you have entered into AIMS. If one does not exist that corresponds with the ECRI code, you will need to add that Manufacturer or Equipment Type to AIMS before you can link it with the ECRI Code.
2. Enter any other Information that you can use to search for the AIMS Code that you are going to link.
3. Click Find. AIMS will search for Equipment Types or Manufacturers that match the criteria you entered.
4. Select one or more AIMS Codes to link with the ECRI Codes.
5. Click OK.
