Equipment Type Expansion

 

AIMS allows you to set up expansion field defaults for each Equipment Type.  Once set up, this information will automatically default for new equipment.

 

1.   Click on the toolbar Data Managers or use the menu Folder > Data Managers.   The Control opens to the Account Tab.

2.   Click on the Equipment Type Tab.

3.   Highlight an Equipment Type in the list and click Edit.  The Control opens to the General Information Tab.

4.   Click the Expansion Tab.

 

 

5.   Enter the default information for each field.  The field types and labels are user defined.  For more information on setting up the field types and labels, please see Customize Expansion Field Names.

6.   Click Global to apply the default(s) to all existing equipment assigned to this Type. 

7.   Click OK to return to the Equipment Type control screen.
